This is Maleko, one of the dozens of adopted children of the Hawaiian shark god Ukupaniko. Ukupaniko has the habit of turning kids who are drowning into were-sharks, and adopt them. Maleko was adopted by Ukupanipo at age 9. He was the only son of a fisherman who fell from his former dad's boat straight into the deeper waters of the ocean and was unable to swim back to the surface. Minutes before his breath ended, Maleko felt a wave of energy running through his body, and in less than a minute he turned into a young shark. He then felt in irresistible urge to swim deeper and deeper, following a mild linght he could see coming from the darkest portion of the ocean. There, Ukupanipo, sitting in his throne, explained everything and welcomed his new son to the palace. Maleko has been living down there since then.

A few facts about Maleko:

- Maleko was homeschooled until his dad felt like he was ready to attend a school in land.
- Maleko isn't able to controll his powers 100% yet. They still get out of control every now and them.
- Maleko is really grateful to his dad and does almost everything to please him and make him proud.
- Maleko has a secret wish to meet his biological dad one last time and tell him everything. He can fell the man is desperate to see him and refuses to believe his only child is dead.
- Maleko is able to breathe air through 4 hours in a row. After this time, he needs to submerge his head into a source of water (like a pool, or a bucket) and take a few deep breaths so he can recover himself completely for another 4 hours breathing air.
- Maleko enjoys surfing and knows all the famous beaches in Hawaii.
- Maleko has over 100 step siblings, 12 of them are younger tham him. All of them were turned into were-sharks by Ukupanipo.
- Maleko hardly remembers his early life as a normie in land.
- Maleko is as chaotic as a shark, but also as well intentioned as a god should be.
